is looking for a
COMMUNITY CENTRE MANAGER
To be responsible for day to day running of the Centre, taking bookings, banking, publicising the Centre and attracting new users, ensuring the Centre is clean and tidy at all times, locking and unlocking the Centre as required, arranging minor repairs, ordering and replacing consumables.
A major part of your role will be attracting new users to the Centre and seeking sources of funding.
You will also be expected to arrange community events.
There will also be many other duties that arise from time to time in connection with the running of a busy and successful Community Centre.
As you will be expected to produce posters, leaflets etc and documents for meetings some IT and report writing skills are required.
You will be required to liaise regularly with members of the Board and Representatives of Agencies who use the Centre.
You will be expected to attend the meetings of the Residents Association and give updates as needed.
Hours are 24 per week and times are as required although you will be expected to work occasional additional hours on a voluntary basis.
Salary is £15000 pa.
Interviews will be held week comm. 7th January 2013.
You will be required to commence duties on Monday 21st January 2012.
